McKee’s 37 Plastic Trim Restorer

I picked some of this up at this year's Detail Fest and wanted to give it a shot. The 'test' vehicle sits outside 24/7 and should be a good test bed.

Trim was waterless washed and then cleaned with APC and then shot with an IPA solution.

Trim restorer was applied with a microfiber applicator pad. It went on easy, even and smooth. It definitely amped up the look of the plastic as well as it made the tiger striping disappear.

I will keep everyone posted with the durability/longevity of this product.

All in all, it is an extremely easy to use product and a little goes a long way...it also makes your damaged trim look a heckuva lot better!

Pics aren't great.

Update: Product is nearly done on the panels I used it on. The vehicle was subjected to weekly car washes and still sat outside 24/7. Got about 3 weeks or so out of it. Looking a little 'tiger stripey' now and it will need to be redone or coated...

Maybe McKee's over Solution Finish the next go around.
