Too awesome, I'd be nervous detailing a car like that!

Wow I didnt even know of that show. thejoyofdriving any other shows coming up?

And do you know of any other detailers around the bay area? Maybe we could get a little detail meet going.
 
This concours was in palo alto, and i think it is held in diffrent places each year. As for other detailers in the bay, i dont know of any pinnacle using detailers in the bay but i have the number of one guy who uses griots. A meeting would be nice, but i would think it would have to be made up of guys which all use the same stuff, or else we would spend the whole time at each others throats.

See, I don't get that. Why do some people think that other brands are better then others, heck as long as you like it and it looks good to you that's all that matters. I'm starting to realize that detailing is all about personal preference and I like Souveran, I like Zymol, I like Meg's....ect..ect...they are all good products. I think that people need to be more open minded and just accept that others will like different products...but then again if everyone was like that the world would be a better place...that's too bad becuase you know what having a bunch of detailers get together would be heaven for me. It's like having a poker night with my buddies, I've had a blast every time we get together...nothign but jokes and laugh's and that's how I feel a detailing get together should be...well that's just me though...:D

Word.

I think as long as its a mature enviorment it'll be fine. I would like to see a vehicle then ask the owner what he did. I mean i've only used a certain amount of products most of which just being PB, Pinnacle, WG, megs, etc.

I'll see if anyone would be interested on other forums for a local meet.
 
sounds good. but you would have to admit that it would be a little hard to talk about detailing, if every one is using diffrent stuff, although it would be an interesting experience, i am always open to learning new ways to improve my detailing,i also would be interested to see what everybodys procedure is like.

Yeah just a friendly gathering. I think it would be cool. Another way to strut your stuff instead of just posting pics.
