That would be the referall. Her parent's are the ones that own the minivan, it was a late Mother's Day Present for her mom (and dad).

Nice job, great work. Love to see pics of that yellow stang.

Excellent work, I'm especially impressed with the interior. Which APC do you use?

Also, I wonder if the owner used coupons cos $110 for 4 hours of work is a great price...

Hey, Nice Job! I noticed you used the eBay clay, how do you like it?

Very nice, I like the way the interior looks. Really like the carpet.

In one of those pictures, the owner (assuming it's the owner) is standing in just taring at the vehicle. Well done.

Not only is the work excellent but the four hour time frame is amazing to me.

The car came out sweet!! The interior was very trashed :O Nice work :)

That Caravan looks great! Very nice work on that interior. This before/after shot is great! Shows those nasty stains are gone!!

Thanks a lot guys, remember, this is just a middle detail, haha!

Basically, the ONLY thing different between this package and my full package is that in the full package I also do:
1) complete paint polishing to the best I feel comfortable w/out harming the CC for the future
2) I use a paste wax instead of spray wax
3) I use Klasse AIO on the front windshield

That's basically it. Everything done to the interior is the same for the middle and full. Why? Because 90% of customers care more about the interior than exterior, and why pay the full detail price w/ paint polishing when they mainly want the interior?

With that said, my current prices for the middle package is $70-$80-$90, but I think I'm going to change to $70-$90-$110.

I use APC+ 10:1 on interiors along w/ Folex on spot stains. I've never used regular APC to compare w/ APC+, but I know APC+ is supposed to be less foaming. It still foams when you DRENCH a spot stain. Folex works very very good for stains, such as coffee (which were the main stains in the Caravan). I also use the Megs carpet/upholstery brush. I love it, works very well and has two different types of bristles on the same brush.

The EBay clay actually has worked very well so far and I haven't noticed any marring caused by it. Then again, all the vehicles i've used it on were already trashed as far as swirls/marring goes. On already close to perfect vehicles I use Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay. I always use DP's 4n1 clay lube mixture. So I've never used another to compare too. But this mixture is much more affordable for me since I use clay in all my packages except basic washes. On this caravan, I used about 12oz's of clay lube. I use a lot for two reasons: Extra lube to minimize the chance of marring, and to remove any possible water spots from the wash.

The Yellow Stang was the daughter of the minivan's owners. She is actually my Banquet manager at my local country club. I've known her for awhile and I think I may be doing her husband's F-150. I'm going to try and talk her into at least a wash.

People around this area, it's hard to convince why they should have their vehicle PROPERLY washed and not just a local car wash twice a year.

When I did the Lexus SUV (the other thread) two days ago, I actually picked up three more vehicles to do from their neighbor. On the minivan, I pciked up another detail from their neighbor.

As far as prices, well, I'm from Dayton, OH. It's not exactly the best area to be able to charge a relatively good amount. There are a few suburbs though that are rather nice (including Oakwood, a suburb where the Wright Brother's grew up).

Keep the questions coming if you have any, I will be happy to answer.

EDIT: Bambo... I use a Ridgid 4gal/5HP wet/dry vac. I also have the car detailing accessory kit. Came w/ a 11' 1 7/8" hose, and three accessories. Cost was $20.

I got the exact same one with the same accessories! LOL Love that 11' hose. Just park the unit on one side of the car and it'll reach all the way across and out!!

Hey whitethunder, so how do you work the wet/dry vac? I mean when you first vacum the carpets then you remove the bag (assuming the vac has a bag) then you use it to extract the carpet? Just wondering.
