Megiuar's Paint Reconditioning Cream (d151) Technique

i used quite a bit of product and still saw good results. just clean the pad on the fly if you feel you're saturating the pad. it leaves a slick and squeaky result.

Definitely clean your pad OFTEN... I forget to include this sometimes when I post and I know that not cleaning your pad often is the root cause of a lot of problems.

Mike, how "wet" are we talking here? Won't saturating the pad reduce your cutting ability?

My point was don't be stingy with a cleaner/wax when working on NEGLECTED paint. But don't overdo it to the point you're saturating your pads.

Most people have the idea of applying a THIN COATING when working with waxes and paint sealants and this is correct when applying a finishing or show car product to a finish in excellent condition.

If your pads are becoming saturated, either clean them more often or switch to clean, dry pads.

It's not rocket science...

Do you mean is is used for show car detailing? If that's what you mean it could be but I don't. A show car finish is best created using a multiple-step approach breaking the process of polishing paint to perfection into dedicated steps with dedicated products.

Unless the paint is flawless to start with of course but then you would probably using a finishing or show car wax, not a cleaner/wax.
