Megs 101

Yes, but it doesn't mean throw your 105 away when you get the 101. Or if you do....I'll take it!

If you used half a bottle of the 32 oz. version of M105 you used WAY too much. But what speed and machine did you use?

This is the smaller bottle I used I think 8 oz?

Using a festool ro150 starting on the low speed ie 1-2 then jumping to 4-5.

A lot of the scratches stayed I thought I would get a better cut from the mf cutting pads.

Still not sure what I'm doing wrong! :(

I will take some photos and post them although i don't see how this will help?

Has anyone here used an orange LCC pad with the 105 and can comment on its cutting power and how much clear coat it can potentially remove!

Thankyou Feed back please

Also what is the best colored LCC pad to use with the Megs 205? The Red?

Alright so I managed to use the 105 with the orange pad again when it wasnt so hot. It definetly didnt dry as fast.

After cutting it with that (it removed only some surface scratches) I then went to the 205 with the Black LCC pad.

I was overall happy with the results the 205 brought up a bit more shine in the paint.

Although the guy who painted it for me did a crap job there are imperfections in the finish of the clear coat and buffing it brought them up!

I also noticed when buffing with the M205 a lot of white spots would shoot out of the side and stick to the cars paint. These are dried spots of the 205 I think but not sure why they appeared.

Any thoughts? Please
