Meg's 105 & 205 pad pair up?

Hey Geeks. I am ordering some Meg's 105 & 205. I have just been using some OTC rubbing compound and polishing compound with my PC and a CCS orange pad to remove minor imperfections in the paint. Any advice to using the 105 & 205 and what would be the best pad to pair up with them? I should be ok with my PC, right? Thanks

:dblthumb2: +1 this is what i currently use also. But it depends on your paint is you need more of a cut then use Yellow pad if your paint is "ok" then go with Orange.

This should help:

Yellow Heavy Cutting Pad- Use this pad to apply compounds or polishes to remove severe oxidation, swirls, and scratches in conjunction with a polishing compound. Heavy Cut Compound

Orange Medium-Heavy Cutting Pad- The orange foam offers the correction of a typical compounding pad while at the same time allowing the polishing ability of light cut foam pad. · Heavy Cut Compound (for lighter cut then yellow pad
· Cut 1.5 Medium Cut Compound

Green Heavy Polishing Pad- This pad is tough enough to remove swirls and scuffs while at the same time producing a high gloss swirl free finish.

White Medium -Light Polishing Pad- Less dense foam formula for the application of waxes, micro-fine polishes and sealants. Pro Polish- Foam Pad Polish

Blue Soft Polishing/ Finishing Pads- Glaze & Cleaner Foam Pad- Unique Composition complements all glazes and light surface cleaners perfectly delivering a super fine finish for use with ultra fine polishes life FP or any glaze. FP-Final Polish

Black Finishing Foam- Composition is firm enough to withstand added pressure during final finishing to remove buffer swirls. It has no cut and will apply thin, even coats of waxes, sealants, and glazes.

Red Perfection Pad Ultra Fine Finishing Pad- This pad has a ultra soft composition for applying refined paste waxes and sealants as well as crème waxes. Provides full contact with paint surface to minimize the pressure applied by the user.
 
The best product/pad combo can only be determined by a test spot. Every situation is different and you need to determine the least aggressive method required to achieve the results you desire.
