Megs 16/ Soveran Paste

Don't go by me. I probably use too much. It was a fabulous product with a great reputation, so don't go by one anonymous geezer on an internet forum.

Thin is most likely the way to go with that wax.......as most paste...;)

Hey, in all fairness, the first time I used Natty's Blue I couldn't get it off to save my life. I applied it nice and thick in the full sun and let it sit for 30 minutes.

Good times...

Hahah..too thick huh.

I applied 16 enough so I can see it on my car, but my car's goldish color so i had to like look at all these angles. If you can see the wax, does that mean it's thick? I had luck buffing off without any problems. Came off easily for me. I have not used Souveran and do not own it......yet :) but I have Pete's 53 which could be close to it, depending on each person though, since there's a lot of things that are subjective when comparing waxes.

But Souveran will love you through thick or thin. Goes on and comes off wet. Don't wait for it to dry. Do a panel then remove.

And just to keep everyone happy, after doing the blackcoupe with 83, then Menzerna, then WGDGS, and waiting a day, I applied Meg's 16 with a CCS blue pad today (I have always done by hand in the past), then removed with a MF bonnet/DA. My experience is that it tends to gum up the bonnet a bit, but I finished with an UltraPlush Terry. Plan is to keep it up with Souveran Spray.

OK--the honest truth is that I did all that, but I only did the hood, roof and trunk, and will save the rest for evenings this week and next weekend, I will mask off the finished product.

No Lauren, just the collinite.I've looked around for #16 locally but no luck:( .I would say not too many waxes if any would match Collinites durability:D

I have used both :D. I got my 476S yesterday. It takes a while to get a hang of the 476. I think my inital coat was wayy to thick so removal was a breeze, but it was very oily and it look a long time to remove the residue.

You have to at least give Souveran a try. I used it for the first time this week. It exceeded my expectations. I expected it to be just a slight bit nicer in looks than NB but now that it's had 24 hours to cure I can plainly see the difference. The Souveran look is niiiiiiiice.

i just applied some #16 to my car over the weekend, it was so easy to use, i waxed the whole car, let haze for approx 30 min or so, and remove it.
It was pretty easy to remove, i like this more than nattys blue.
