I dont know anything about the product, so im asking yinz....What the heck is it... does contain protection? Doesnt sound like a true polish.

A buddy at work bought it for his bike to use with his harbour frieght da. But hes looking to use armour details ceramic coating after.

It's a mild compound, with moderate cutting ability.
Maybe 1/3 of the Megs UC potency.

A polish is a mild abrasive product. Unlike waxes that call themselves polishes but aren't abrasive vs all in one polish/wax combo products. It's kid of confusing.

Part polish, part filler. It's really an old school product that is great on old cars. Like d single stage black.

I always thought it was an oily glaze. Has it changed with v 2.0?

I remember old posts and videos here where Mike Phillips would apply it to dried out/faded/neglected single stage paint in an effort to "moistureize" it and soften things up a bit before polishing.

I haven’t used this in a long time but it’s a pretty oily and may not be the best choice to use before a coating. Like mentioned it has the capability to fill pretty good and if it was me I wouldn’t have much confidence following with a panel wipe that the polish would be removed. Again haven’t used it lately and the product could be different now

Meguiars seems to load some of their products up with a lot of oils. Good for single stage paints but not really needed for modern clear coats.

I just used some this week on single stage paint 1979 Alfa Romeo Spider. It did a great job.
