Meg's Chenille Wash Pad

Roof of my suv is major beotch, I don't even really bother with it anymore. You have to get on the roof to do anything. Try standing on a ladder and you'll have to have arms like Kobe Bryant to reach still lol. Plus I have the roof rack which makes it harder. And the roof isn't flat it has groves spaced out.

I'll just spray AW or some other spray wax up there from now on, too much of a pain in the arse lol.

Here is the image that just popped into my head.
  1. Fill foamgun with wax.
  2. Spray wax all over roof.
  3. Put on microfiber suit
  4. Climb on roof.
  5. Lay down.
  6. Roll around roof until wax is buffed off.
That would make for a great how to video!:D

You are too darn silly!;)

Y'all aren't really a couple, are you? Or did I miss something?

LOL I like the microfiber suit idea! too funny! For my SUV I use that chenile washer thingy on the telescopic pole. Looks like this but with a long pole attached to it. For waxing the roof I use one of those 3 step ladders and I stand on second step and then I can reach all the way to the middle of the roof. :p I'm 5'9 and a half.

That looks just like what I currently use. The problem is that foam inside the pad retains water forever so it doesn't dry AND it used a proprietary snap on for the pole AND the pole is quite short. I got it at Walmart. Meguiar's brush looks nice but it too uses a proprietary snap on attachment.

I must have stubby arms. I'm 5'10' and had to pratically hump my minivan to reach the middle of the roof with my wash pad. That's why I got the wash mop on a pole. There is no way I could apply any kind of wax or sealant properly.
