I'm no a big fan of them either. I know when I starting browsing on detailing forums over half my time compromised searching for what the acronym meant.

They serve there purpose but would make it 100x easier to refer to the full name, place the acronym in brackets immediately after and then use the acronym throughout the thread

Eg. I was looking a getting some Meguiars Hyper Dressing (HD). How does HD compare to....?
