A friend of mine uses this and likes it quite a bit. Anyone have any experience with it at full strength as a stand alone?

I would say try the Hybrid Ceramic Detailer first. If you like the results then step up to M799.

I have not used it full strength but I did use it at the “boosted detailer” dilution as both a drying aid and clay lubricant/1 step on a few vehicles.

I find it to be very slick and provide nice tight beading. Overall I enjoy using this product a lot.

I recently coated my truck with meguiar’s hybrid paint coating so I will be using this as a maintenance product for it.
