Can MEG'S NXT TECH WAX and MEG'S GOLD CLASS LIQUID CAR WAX be a good topper for sealer or glaze....or caurnuba???? In bonding issues??

I don't know what you mean by or carnuba? but I used Meg's #7 glaze and topped it with Meg's Gold Class Wax with some pretty good results. Are you asking about using BOTH NXT and Gold Class or what? I don't fully understand.

Sorry.........Yes!!!!!!!! both but not at the same time.[either one]

carnuba...... sovervan wax
.......

I'm sure you shouldn't have problems topping them over a sealant or a glaze. Now are you asking if you top them on Souveran? Very interesting if that is what you are asking, if not.. I don't know.!

NXT has some mild cleaning ability in liquid form so it actually might remove whatever layer is underneath. Not sure about NXT paste wax which I'm guessing your referring to?

but on 2nd thought.....WHY:confused: the first 2 answered are the biggies

thanks.......:righton:

No problem. Yeah, I wouldn't see why we would top Souveran with anything besides another coat!!

Forgot about that. I'm not really a fan of NXT anyways.

On 2nd thought.......i'd just use the gold class on the sealer or glaze:)

both products have some light cleaners in them, designed as almost AIO type products, so likely to remove some of a sealant and all of a carnuaba when used as a topper. Stick to them by themselves, or consider topping them with something of a pure carnuaba if wanted. (Souveran, Sig Series, Max Wax, Pink Wax)

SEalers and glazes are two very different products. A sealer, like Klasse, Meg's #21, etc., is generally considered a LSP in and of itself, but many folks (myself included) have found it to be of value to further top them with a wax. Glazes, by comparison, basically *have* to be topped by a wax (or another LSP, such as a sealant). They're intended to provide a good shine, but will evaporate in a matter of days if not "locked in" by a wax.

So, if you glaze, *always* follow with some sort of LSP, such as a wax. And, for a sealant, you *can* follow with another type of LSP, like a wax, but it's not absolutely necessary.

Souveran is less expensive and looks as good and better than some of their offerings. :p
