Well ive been looking for a good shampoo for awhile. and after doing some reading on the forum i see that alot of ppl like the megs shampoo+. so at 15$ a gallon how could i go wrong well when i ordered it the wolfgang autobath was BOGO so i got that an DP closeout of there old stuff was 3 for 19 so i got 3 of there shampoo now i must say out of all the shampoos ive tryed WG and DP are great love the sudes and how long they last. But the megs i havent been to happy with. im mobile so im always in the sun and i have found that the megs losses it sudes after 15 min and lookis like i'm washing with water with is not a good thing being that i have a lot of ppl driving by and seeing that. Just wondering dose anyone else experance this. O but i love the WG and DP but being that i do this for a living looking for something like the megs (as far as price). just wanted to see what everyone had to say about this

I love Shampoo Plus but I use it with the Gilmour 3oz and 6oz water and it does very well... But I haven't bucket washed with it in a while
I foam two panels at a time and wash... Much easier for me
Megs Shamp+ is solid .. Maybe add a little more product?
If you got 15 mins out of it I would think that would be good?!?!?

actually cee dog thats the thread u did that convinced me to buy the megs shampoo+. maybe you can answer this ? whats the difference between shampoo + and megs hyper-wash?

Ok maybe i exaggerated a lil with 15 min. ive tryed more produce bc it says 1oz to 1 G of water ive even moved it up to 5oz a gallon and have had the same results. now granted it is a good shampoo dont get me wrong. maybe i just need to get a foam cannon for my pressure washer

I've never used the hyper wash but if you do a search on mol I think you'll see the info you want.

Maybe you could put a couple drops of a high foaming soap in with it so the people walking by will see suds if they are going away on you.

Gold Class FTW!
I cleaned out Wally world in the fall on there 64oz that were on sale for $3 each! Down to only 10 bottles :(
I wonder if I can freeze this stuff! Lol

ive tried the GC a long time ago back when i was only doing my car. Thats my main concern with ppl walking/driving by. being that i make my living off detailing ppl like seeing the suds. i do think that the shampoo+ is a good shampoo even tho it dosent hold suds very much but bussines whize i need spomething that holds its suds. like i said i really like WG and DP and if i have to i'll spend the money on it but just looking for something better

When y'all detail out in the open and having these foam parties; what are y'all doing to reclaim your water? I got a visit one day abt two years ago from a man with a clipboard giving me a warning as I wasn't reclaiming my water but more so was he upset Abt the suds that were flowing thru the street... You see you can get away without reclaiming your water if you use light soap as it and the water will dissipate into the ground pretty quickly on a hot day but with foam parties it hangs in there for a bit
Dont get me wrong I will still foam it up at a privTe residence anytime I vet the chance because it just makes for a good show but out in the open public at office plexes and what not I will ONR them to death.
I know people say to use seperAte wash media everytime for every panel but you can get away with using one wash cloth provided you agitate it with a grit guard every panel

Wow that's quite a reaction. Where I'm at there is not such thing as water reclamation laws or people concerned with it. No water usage limits either.

I guess it is good or bad, depending on how you look at it really.

Wow, where do you live, or what state?

As far as suds, I think they(suds) are overratted. But if you want to make a show for people you can always ring out your sponge/mit as long as it is not too dirty.

i'm not saying that the megs isn't a good shampoo or dose not work well.Im just stating that it dose not hold suds very long at all and as far as biz whiz it dose not look good (from the outside in) when it looks like im washing a car with straight water. Ppl what to see suds it gives them the feeling that there car is really getting that good bath. was just wondering if anybody had any recommendations on a dif shampoo. for around the same price a gallon

Within the same price range, the only shampoo I know if that suds up like crazy is CG Maxi Suds. I tried a sample of it and didnt like it due to the fact that its suds up too much. Good lubricity, but I dont care for the foam as it adds nothing.
