Megs Supreme Shine Microfiber

I don't know the composition of the supreme shine microfiber towels.. There are no tags on them.

I think the OP confirmed my suspisions, they are indeed 80/20. I only stated that because the supreme shine towels that come inside the Megs clay kits have a tag on them at 80/20.

I bought a bunch of the supreme towel three packs on March 1, 2010 (I know because I have the bill in front of me on the pc history sheet). The three towel pack cost me $7.98 shipped, however, today they would cost me $7.63 shipped (although not at AutoGeek's store where they are a little more expensive). So in three years they have gone down in price. How many good products can you say that about!!

They have lasted me for three years of hard use and now are the only towels I use for my ONR washes doing it the Gary Dean way. The towels are large but not too large to handle and soak up dirt very well. They hold a lot of liquid product and easy to spread. I highly recommend them for most purposes except drying, and especially as rinseless wash towels.

I used to use these, but then they started linting really bad after only a few wash/use cycles. Granted this was in 2010 so they might be of a higher quality now.

I was asking because I see them here and other places but I don't see any quality information like are they 70/30 or 80/20, gms, etc. I also found them to be cheaper than others especially by the case. I believe Autogeek had them by the case years ago.

I believe they are 80/20 blend..which is a good blend of materials for a mf towel. I really love these supreme shine towels from megs. I even bought mothers mf towels in a 12 pack that are a little cheaper than megs. They are a little smaller than the ones meguiars has. Megs towels are a 16x24 inch towels, and mothers towels are 16x16. So not much smaller. Still both very affective in your task at hand. Its all by personal preferrance really.

I have a lot of higher density towels, as well as some mid priced ones. I picked up some of the supreme shine towels on a whim and they have turned out to be my favorite towels for polish removal and buffing. Really impressed. These aren't super thick but are really soft and are easy to work with on paint. No comparison with the lower end Costco type towels.

I agree with ya Rmd. I wish they were a little more plush but for 2.89 a towel you cant go wrong lol. I like the mothers polishing towels more when it comes to plushness. They are more dense. If you want more denseness and plushness, id buy me some mfs from mothers. They sell them in bulk of 12 towels for 25.00. Cant go wrong with the price either lol

The Meg's are out there for a little less than $2 per towel in the 3 packs. AG will price match for some things. Worth it to give AG a shot at it before buying elsewhere online.
