Meg's UQD vs Aquawax in rain

I just bought a bottle of UQD today . It cost $10.00 with a $5.00 rebate , so for $5.00 I will try it. It did make the car very glossy, but 951 and 921 also make the paint very glossy. Time will tell.

Just one persons opinion but after watching "the video" I expected water to sheet off in any condition.
Why would you expect that when the video clearly showed sheeting when flooding, beading when spraying?

I agree, the description of it's properties says nothing about sheeting.....just relentless beading.

The most advanced high bead and deep gloss spray detailer! Meguiar’s®, the company that brought car enthusiasts the world’s first spray detailer, now introduces a revolutionary mist and wipe product that works like a spray detailer and enhances wax protection. This totally unique formula represents a significant breakthrough in technology that has even our eyes popping! Through the use of new Hydrophobic Polymer Technology™, Meguiar’s has created a spray detailer that actually repels water, withstands multiple car washes, and adds additional protection to your finish. The secret lies in the high level of surface tension created when these revolutionary polymers react. The result is a slicker, darker surface and incredible water beading! You will feel your towel almost float across the surface. The gentle, high lubricity formula is safe on all paint types including the latest clear coats and can be used daily to remove loose contaminants, dust and grime to keep your car looking its absolute best. It’s so easy, you can detail a full size car in less than 10 minutes!

 You don't have #951? Where have you been? LOL!!!:D Get it I think you will be please. Pick up #921 also, great cleaning and it adds sealant. I use the #921 in the door jams and wheels.

Thanks for the great review Al.:applause:

From the AG site I see that 921 has cleaning properties and 951 does not. So 921 is more of a QD then? Do you need to QD before using 951?

AW 951 is used after a wash so no QD needed...you have a clean paint after the wash..
921 is used in between washes to wipe lite dust off..finger prints....clean door jams...bird bombs....lite water spots....windows..

Nice test AL. It does look like the AW has more beads. I hate those seagulls. I have a neighbor who feeds them. She's a real nut case.

Feed them some 'mystery bread' and maybe she'll stop feeding them when she finds a whole bunch lying there in her backyard ;)

FWIW, I've been using Duragloss and AW for years.......This Ram I purchased brand new in 1996, and I can honestly say this truck has never had anything but Duragloss shine products applied. I can remember when it used to be called "Deep Shine," back in the 70's.
