Can you use Meguaris D114 rinse free express wash as a waterless wash instead of a rinseless wash?

Mike Phillips and Jason showed in the video using it as a waterless wash and also a paint cleaner. He specified that the paint cleaner was 1:15 dilution ratio. He also specified that a rinseless wash was a 1:128 ratio. But never said what was the ratio for the waterless wash?

I cannot find a definitive answer as to if it can be used as a waterless wash, and if so, what is the dilution ratio?

Wish I could ask Jason the question =)

Thanks!

On meguiars forum they suggested either 1:128

This was debated when D114 was released on the megs forum, if I recall 1 oz for 1 to 1.5 gallon of water is good for waterless and thats what I personally use.

Best best would be 1:4 or 1:8

You are thinking of a different product; D115.
Meguiars Rinse Free Express Wash & Wax D-11501, rinseless car wash, rinseless wash and wax

No. Is there something specific you are looking for. Its a fairly simple process.

Mix a gallon and use a garden sprayer and shine... I have also tried .5 oz to one gallon and had great results. Just remember drench the panels, i probably use over half a gallon of solution to clean my cars.

I mix it at 15:1 in a 32 oz spray bottle. Works great.

I think that when you mix 1:128 for WW just to get light dirt and smudges off its great, does not streak. I find it streaks more the higher concentration I use. I think 1:64 would be good for getting heavier dirt off and and maybe 1:32 for getting heavy dirt off and bugs and such. But it seems harder to buff off without leaving streaks. For me on glass this product is nearly impossible to leave streak free.
