Meguairs Gold Class gone after a month and a half

Ioncoat Naviwax?
Lasts about 9weeks with super tight beeding and gives a real depth to paint

Thanks, I'll try that. I have no problem waxing my car every month or two in the summer but I need a good wax that's going to last at least 3 months in the winter time. Any suggestions?

I have found both Ultima Paint Guard Plus and Opti-Seal to outlast 845 in the harsh Ohio winters.

I just put the wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant on my truck then a coat of 845 on top.....it looks great

Holy crap, is it winter already??? Just do what the guy below does.

845 is just a dream to apply once you get past the screwy bottle--not that the pastes aren't a little screwy with the small opening in the can. The pastes are less of a joy to apply than 845 (although still not bad) but they do last a bit longer IME.

Thank you dchristo and Setec Astronomy for the tips. And I ordered Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant under the Father's Day Sale promotion. Got to save money where you can! I won't apply it until late October at the earliest though.

Ok I used rubbing alcohol on half of the trunk lid and tried to test it like that. The half that I used rubbing alcohol on doesn't bead water but the other side does. So there must still be wax on the car right, even though it is squeaky when I rub my finger across it?

Durability sucks on the Gold Class, but for the price, it looks amazing.:dblthumb2:

I think it was intended to be more of a show wax anyway.:props:

it's got something on it but probably could use a boost, especially if the car isn't garaged...
