Meguiar’s #21 Synthetic Sealant 2.0 Performance

I also applied it pretty thin using my PC. Regarding my bottle of M21, I did buy it new but it stayed on my garage shelf for about 6 months before I used it. What is ONR, I may have to check it out, or give my Sonax shampoo a try first.

Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine.

IMO, M 21 is right up there with my other favorites Menzerna PL and UPGP as far as looks and durability.

One of my close associates that I often work with used PL. Very nice stuff. I agree with ya!

My only comparison is the Sonax Polymer Net Shield I used on my new vehicle. I thought I would be comparing apples and oranges since I just purchased my new vehicle in Dec 2016, but the Sonax is hands down much better than the M21 if I ignore age of vehicle. I'll try a different wash shampoo as others have suggested or maybe look into a wax to put on top of the M21. Thanks.

If you want to compare apples to apples, something more comparable to PNS would be Meguiars Ultimate Fast Finish. Considering both are aerosol sealants. UFF is definitely more hydrophobic than M21.

Thanks, I'll take a look at Meguiars Ultimate Fast Finish. Would I have to remove the M21 before applying the UFF?

No. You can apply it over M21. The Meguiar's reps over at their forum state doing this will not affect the longevity of UFF.

I didn't read thru the responses here but I feel the durability of 21 is terrible from my personal experience. It's why it isn't I'm my aresenal! Many better sealants out there. WGDGPS is certainly much much better!

That was my experience with the M21. What is WGDGPS? thanks

If you're using the same car wash soap as you are with the vehicle that has the Sonax Polymer Net Shield, then it shouldn't be such a problem. Maybe you just have better results with 1 over the other.

Currently I'm not so I'll have to switch it up. The cars that I used the M21 on I've been washing using Chemical Guys Maxi Suds soap. I'll have to try the Sonax soap on these cars.

What are you washing the vehicle that has the Sonax Polymer Net Shield with?
