Meguiars #7 Show glaze and Opticoat

Can I top the show glaze with Opticoat? I not, what finishing polish would be best before Opticoat? I currently have Meg's 105 and 205.

No. Opticoat needs to bond with the paint. Megs #7 is very oily and needs to be removed before applying OOC. After 205, you need to either Dawn wash the car or use IPA to get rid of any polishing oils before applying OOC.

if you use optimum polishes (hyperpolish, polish II, or finish polish) then you can wipe with just a damp mf before OC application.

I got some polish II just for the rides I do before OC application...

You can also wash the car with ONR but not sure if that will remove some of the oilier polishes
