Anyone use these bad boys to apply wax, sealant, or LSP? Just started using them and I think they are all I'll use from now on.

Pros and cons of these. View attachment 40458

They are the only applicators I use when I apply an LSP by hand.

I haven't used those in years, I stick with square foam applicators they provide quick coverage.

What brand square? I can see where a square one would come in handy.

They are really good quality, ive used tons of those and I love em and the price is right. Ive used the free be applicators that come with some products but the Meguiars applicators are definitely much higher quality and my go to.

Yup, my favorite and the only ones I'll use.
Pros: Soft, soaks product in without eating it, spreads evenly
Cons: Hard to find in stores

Do you guys bother washing these or just toss em?

Sometimes I wash them. But if they become black they don't always come clean. But they're still useful for other things, like applying tire dressing or on weatherstripping.

My favorites too. Used to be able to get them easily at pep boys but they quit stocking them. Now get them at AG or Autopia Car Care

I used them until I tried the Pinnacle Polishing Pal and now my hand does not smell like a LSP anymore or get cramps from a large vehicle. I use the yellow pads for windshield treatments now.

I use these Megs yellow pads for LSP application, too. Love them. And I do wash them with dish detergent and rinse very thoroughly. At minimum, I'll use them a second time for tire/trim dressing. Best case scenario, I'll use them again for LSP application on the lower 1/3 of the vehicle (rockers, bumpers, behind the wheel wells, etc). I'm kinda thrifty that way. I don't use them a second time on my hood for sure.

:iagree:The polishing pal gives me even pressure and I don't have to use my finger tips to apply pressure. Very comfortable to use and you have much more choices as far as pads go then just a soft absorbent foam. I reach for a standard foam app. when I need to get into tight spots.
