I have been using the meguiars black plastic polish since I got my truck and have noticed when it rains it streaks like a oil slick down my paint!!!!!! Is there a better plastic polish that doesn't do that?

Are you referring to Ultimate Black? Are you buffing off any excess product?

I had the same problem from other products. What solved the issue was Wolfgang's Exterior Trim Sealant. Don't be shy because of the price. A little product goes a very long way. You might use 1 or two ounces to do a whole vehicle. It lasts a very long time too. I did my vehicle about 4 months ago, and it still looks great.
Personally, I'm so pleased with the sealant, I will never use another dressing for outside trim.
I also tried their interior sealant. Again, I'm so pleased with it that my dressings are used for other people's vehicles. I use the sealant for my own vehicle.

Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant is great. Sometimes with Meg's Ultimate Black it's best to go around and give it a final buff to remove any excess product after it has been absorbed for a few minutes. I would also recommend you clean the trim with APC or Mother Trim Cleaner to prep the surface.

:xyxthumbs: On the WGTS.

Having a truck with more plastic trim than a Revel model, I've been using Meguiar's Ult LIQUID wax. The liquid variety does NOT stain nor leave the infamous telltale white leftovers.
