Guys I would be willing to bet that this question has been asked a thousand times but I don't see in my search. Here it is...what is the equivalent Lake Country pad to the Meguiar's burgundy pad? I don't think this matters but I'll be using the Flex 3401 to detail a boat so I'm checking my options when it comes to pads with more abrasiveness than a polishing pad. Thank you.

With Lake Country that is a trick question. It all depends on which line of pads you're looking at, the colors differ by product line. It's also worth noting Lake Country has a more graduated system of pads in their line. Meguiars has three pads where Lake Country has five in their Flat Pad line.

I have no experience with the Meguiar's pads and have only used Lake Country Flat Pads, but I'd say the burgandy pad is probably similar to the orange Lake Country Flat bad.

In my opinion the Megs Burgundy is more aggressive than the LC Orange Hybrid or Orange CCS

.

I believe the Megs burgundy pad falls between the orange and yellow Lake Country pads.

Megs Burgundy cuts more than the LC yellow too. Its between LC Yellow and LC ThinPro Grey.

Thanks gentlemen. The boat has lite to moderate oxidation so I think I'll start with M105 and orange CCS pads. Depending on how that goes I may end up with #67 and the orange CCS pad (these I already have) or the Meguiars burgundy. Thank you all.
