As the the title says clay kit is out stock and is unlikely to be seen here in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I was planning to clay my car for the first time and this happened.

I have bought all the other stuff but clay is remaining, however the guy at Meguiars branch showed me their professional clay (C2000 Detailing Mild Clay) now I don't know whether to go for this or arrange the clay kit from somewhere.

Also I think you can't use quik detailer spray with this Mild Clay you have to use something like Final Inspection (M34) or Last Touch (D155).

Anyone here to help me solve this issue.

Note: Only Meguiars is the product seen mostly here in Saudi Arabia.

The medium clay in the Meguiar's Pro line is as good as their consumer line clay. I'd use it. As for a clay lube you can use their M34 or Last Touch but they recommend diluting their Last Touch by 50% with water otherwise it's too slippery.

Is it fine if I use Quik Detailer the one that comes in the box itself?

I would delay and order the Nano-Skin sponge or the towel. I switched to the towel and don't plan on going back to triditional clay. If you do, order the Nano-Skin lobe o go with it.

Yes. That product came out in 1981 but when it was introduced it was called Trigger Wash. It is the original quick detailer or spray detailer. Meguiar's dropped the original name and switched to Quick Detailer a few year down the road.

I have a couple of the original bottles in my antique car wax collection.

And to add to what lineman posted...

Stick with the Fine Grade Nanoskin products unless you are already planning on machine polishing the paint. Mechanically decontaminating paint can sometimes lead to marring of the paint, even with detailing clay so use LOTS of lube and of course, focus on the task at hand.

Thank you for the suggestion, but right now I would like to experience how the traditional clay works, as this is my first time. I have seen the clay towel maybe I will buy it in the future.

Yes it is fine.

Thanks, bought the quik detailer.
