Meguiar's DA MF Pads with Menzerna PO85RD 3.02

I've used the MF cutting pads with Menz 3.02 and got excellent results.
My hood was full of waterspots and deep scratches from aggresive claying some paint splatter. MF pads and 85RD3.02 did a great job o clearing both.

:iagree:MF pads won't really jewel the paint.

The OP asked about PO85RD 3.02, which is SIP/PO83, and not the finishing polish PO85RD - so I don't think he's trying to jewel the paint just yet :)

Toni,
Thanks for the comment and pictures!
Did u use it with the cutting of finishing pads?

Would the optimum mf polishing pad work well with Menzerna SIP or would it work better with the Meguairs mf cutting pad.

Just real quickly...

I've benchmark tested a number of products with microfiber pads with known characteristics, here's the deal, always keep in mind that Meguiar's recommends their microfiber pads "system" for FACTORY paint.

So whatever products, (that is liquids like compounds and polishes), you want to try with any company's microfiber pads, be sure to do a TEST SPOT first and make sure you're getting the results you hope for and dream about before buffing out an entire car.

:)

One difference between foam and fiber pads is the potential for each individual "fiber" or grouping of fibers to cut the paint. This can show up as micro-marring or DA Haze on some paints but you will likely have to chemically strip the paint to see it.

Test first and inspect before buffing out an entire car...

:)
