This is absolutely the easiest, and best resulting correction system/combo I have used.

When my Walmart got the Meguiars DA Microfiber Correction System in stock, I decided to try it out.

I have a 2008 Black Corvette, pretty hard paint. I've plenty of compounds/polishes, from wolfgangs to Adams to 3m to Meg's, and have used similar number of pads, ccs, kompressor, über, you get the picture...

Pros:
Ease of use (4 products, red with red, black with black )
Product bottle is self cleaning tip
Easy spread
Does not stain trim/ws = minimal taping
Fast cut (took me about 1:30-2 minutes per 2x2 section), there were a few spots that required a second pass but they were minimal.
Clean cut - to be honest you could probably skip step 2 finishing wax if you wanted
Nice scent - Cinnamon for the cutting, and Berry for the finishing.
Clean up: minimal clean up, the mf pads clean real easy and fast.

Cons:
Dusting - the cutting compound still dusts fairly bad. Getting little specs of pink everywhere.
Pads loaded up faster than foam,

Will post pics tomorrow. :buffing:

Yeah, this system is really great--what you need to do about the dusting is blow out the pad with compressed air when the fibers get matted down, if you do that you really don't get any dusting with it.

Wouldn't that just be blowing the dust else where Ina controlled manner ? :)

Use the supplied brush and use it in between sections of panels and that will keep the pad ready for each section and you want get any dusting. I never use the finishing wax because I follow up with Wolfgang sealant 3.0

This is one of the many reason Meguiar's is one of the oldest names in the detailing business. They set realistic goals when developing new product and the Meguiar's DA Microfiber Correction System is just another home run!! :props:

Yeah, but at least you don't have to wipe it off of the car! Seriously, you will use less product if you keep the fibers fluffed up--when they get matted down you don't really get as much cut.

If cleaning them in-between sections? Is two cutting pads enough to do the whole car?

Yeah, want there yesterday to pick up something called auto vaccine. I'm working on a mini van now, a big snake got loose in the car and it been dead for a month. The problem is we can't find the snake. I think the snake crawled into the air vents, going try to see if local mechanic will open it up. Car smelled so bad, I used up whole can of order bomb yesterday.

When the last time you went there?

I haven't been there in years. So did he have the MF system?

You checked under all the seats and compartments? Behind trim? How big a snake? Could he fit through an air vent diffuser?

Yeah he had the kit for 100 and pads were around 23 for two.

Yeah I checked everywhere. The smell is coming from the front end. He told me that snake was large, so I don't know how it got into the dash area. He is thinking about trading it in soon. So when he decide to, I will use the auto vaccine to help mask as much as I can. Used something similar at dealership before and worked great to get rid of odor.

It may just have crawled up into the dash somewhere, not necessarily in the air vents. That's gonna be a heck of a mess, so someone is going to pull the dash? I guess this was a pet?

Yeah, going first see if the mechanic will do it. If not I will probably try to open it myself. Yep this was his pet, it was lost during moving.

Can you clean these MF cutting discs the same as a foam cutting pad??
