Meguiars DA Microfiber Correction System, paint polishing system, car polish, car detailing system, compounding system, remove scratches

This system is the bomb. I've saved hundreds of hours using this new system over the foam pads on a Porter Cable 7949XP. I had a badly swirled van that I used some very coarse gritty compound on with the stiffest foam pad..no luck. Switched to a lambs wool pad and had a little better success but I was burning through the compound and still had swirls. Finally I just stopped after 12 hours and getting almost nowhere. I ordered a rotary DW849 then saw the Meguiars DA Microfiber Corrections System and ordered it with the the backing plate....BAM...it corrected in nothing flat. I used some Optimum Poly Seal with it and it's amazing. Poly Seal corrects by itself just hand waxing...then I put a dab of Poly Seal on the microfiber pad from Meguiars for a small spot just to see what it would do a BOOM..corrected a small scratch in 10 seconds. I just bumped the DA and it was repaired. I'm sold..had to share. If you want to save a ton of time and are not well versed in rotary buffers here's your answer. I'm pumped to do a dark car again. Normally I dread them because of the time it takes to get them looking just right. Not any more!!!!

+1 I have the Megs MF awesome on black

+2 it's a very good system an makes the PC style DAs come alive.

This is another example of why Meguiar's has been in the business of supplying the automotive industry with some of the best most innovative products since 1901!

Meguiar's has captured both the professional and consumer market by offering products that perform at a premium level time and time again. When I first saw their DA Microfiber Correction System I just grinned thinking to myself; they've hit another home run....:props:

D300/MF Cutting Discs are my favorite defect removal combo.

Couldn't agree more. After refining the technique and how much product to use, it's usually LSP ready on a lot of paint systems. Could their be a higher gloss achieved? Sure, but for "one steps" it's awesome!

Used on my Mazda black paint last year, and I am not going back to foam pads for correction.

I am going to try the Optimum pads this go around.

This is my GO TO system. It performs and delivers every time! Im going to be using it again this weekend on a clients Cobra.

You don't want to see pictures of a white work van with paint correction. Besides, pictures don't tell you how long someone worked on it. A video would show you how easily it corrects but I think everyone's posts should clue most people in that you can get there faster using some form of a MF system.

slow arm movement+firm downward pressure makes a good workout...

I only use MF to cut now. I still prefer foam to finish. I prefer the LC MF for DA now.
The custom BPs by Kevin Brown at buffdaddy give the MF even more cut as they make edging a breeze for the deeper defects.

I'm learning a ton here. What backing plates are you using with the LC MF pads? I agree the foam gives a higher gloss finish...smoother finish. So far I've used the MG MF's on white and silver paint and thought I could just pick up the slightest marks in the silver paint but it looked like glass. I wasn't sure if I was seeing anything there or if it was in my mind. I should be getting a black lexus in soon which will tell all. I have a full compliment of LC foam pads I can use on it to finish it out if the MF doesn't do the trick. Still I'm always looking for quicker cutting with the MF da.
