Meguiars G110v2 How to replace spindle housing

What is the procedure for replacing Meguiars Dual Action G110v2 yellow plastic spindle housing?
 
Did you break it? Can you actually buy that part for it? I don't have a G110 but my presumption would be you can't get any spare parts for it.

Since there were no instructions with the spindle housing, I contacted Meguiars. They said to send the part and the polisher back to them for repair. So I did. I'm expecting the repaired polisher back soon.
 
I was expecting to receive my repaired polisher returned to me. But Meguiar's sent me a brand new polisher, including bag and accessories. Now that is really fantastic customer service. I will only buy Meguiar's products for my cars and boats.

Is it because you have purchase a lot of other products from Meguiar's when you send the machine back for repair? Or are you a regular Meguiar's customer?

If no, then it is beyond best customer service.

Perhaps someone in Meguiar's accidentally broke the unit under repairing and have no choice but to replace with a new one? Is that what you mean?

But even if this is the case, having the willingness to replace a new unit still sounds very good to me.
 
I have been using mostly Meguiar's products for years. This return and replacement was totally independent, and without any mention of any previous purchases. Since I don't buy from Meguiar's direct, there is no way they could have known about prior purchases. Because of the excellent customer service, I have decided to buy ONLY Meguiar's products from now on.

It was broken while in my use. I believe they could have repaired and replaced the broken part, but decided to send me a new buffer instead.
