Meguiars Gold Class Trim detailer problem

Hello all,
I've been having problems using the above product. I get streaks on the paint when it rains. I Shake the bottle, apply the product with a foam brush, and wipe off excess with a mf. I understand that it might be a water based dressing but do all products do this?

Not all exterior trim products streak in the rain. Meguiar's new Ultimate Protectant has great durability in the rain. The trick is to apply it with a foam applicator pad, use a very small amount and work the product into the trim. A little goes a very long way.
