Meguiar's leather conditioner destroyed my seats!

If you really want some nice leather, get the stuff Mercedes use in their S class. That stuff is NICE!

Sure. MB S Class leather is SWEET!, but if you really wanna go all the way, go with Corinthian Leather :dblthumb2:

Yes, that fine Corinthian leather is great. In fact, (using Billy Crystal voice) it looks marvelous!

Update...

I have been waiting to find out whether or not my friends company re-coated the seats or not. He went back and found that the seats were not touched in any way. If they were re-coated, it would have to have been done by the original owner.

The original owner did not sell this vehicle. It was repossessed from him. My friend runs the repossession department at a local credit union. He said that they do spray seats, but this vehicle was not touched in any way. The vehicle was in mint condition when brought in. He said that most likely it is the manufacturer's seat coating that is damaged and encouraged me to see what the dealer had to say about the damage.

I agree with him as I see no reason why a three year old vehicle with only 38k miles would need all four chairs re-coated. Especially when looking at the condition of the rest of the vehicle.

He will set me up with his guy who does seat re-coats for him. However, I want to see what the dealer has to say first.
