hello guys ..

One guestion about the new mf system..Before you start you have to primed the pad with little drops in the pad and covereged in whole pad. Then you put 2 little drops in the pad..

the question is ..After i cleaned the pad i had to primed the pad again and then 2 little drops .or primming the pad is at the beggining?

Once you've primed your pad, it's primed.

I use a Flex 3401 and after each section, I always use a stiff brush to fluff up the microfibers then just 2 pea sized drops on either side of the pad. I've learned that when the pad begins to grab, it's time to switch to a new pad.

Hope that helps you out.

How many pads do you go thru? I too just bought this system, it only comes with 2 cutting and 2 finishing pads.

2 should be fine for a car. Some people use just one for each step, cleaning on the fly with air or bug sponge after each section.

The guys have got you covered.

Prime once then feed the pad as required......:props:

The last car I did I went through 3 pads. I've found that a fresh pad really makes a difference in the performance. You'll know when to put a fresh one on.

How did you clean the pad? did you wash it? blow it out with commpressed air? clean on the "fly" ?

If you "washed " the pad then yes repriming the pad is in order!

I throw mine into a bucket of warm water and let them soak for awhile and then just wash them in the kitchen sink. You CAN throw them into the washing machine. I always let mine air dry on top of the refrigerator on a baking rack.

Thanks everybody! I'm looking forward to using this system. ;)
