Has anyone tried this? Can anyone give me the lowdown on it? Thank you in advance.

I can't hardly wait to purchase Meguiar's G-365,
and compare it to Simoniz 365.

I was excited too about this but then I heard it does not have too many gloss enhancing qualities for 10 bucks can't really go wrong but lest we forget NuFinish and a few other home shopping network products made the same types of promises in durability and resistance to the "car wash"

Megs actually had a couple of vehicles hand washed 50 times each to test the durability

I do not know how many whirly brush washes the product will survive or if the harsh chemicals that are purportedly in touchless washes would decrease the 50 was durability

I do not think this product is being marketed to enthusiasts as much ad people who are less enthusiastic about car paint maintenance

IDK why it gets such a bad wrap (other than the staining of trim). I used it back when I was a teenager and remember it was the first product that I thought "wow... this product lasts a while" and it was definitely the first product that i noticed beading on. But, to be fair, I had only tried one or two other OTC products at that point. I think that the average joe can do worse, that's for sure.

I think that I will be trying 365, but I will be surely topping it. I figure that I can probably use it as a base layer and just use a nuba on top of it or something. The only thing that frustrates me is that I will have to compound it if I don't like it. I wish it was a spray on product though.

Why would you need a cutting polish to get rid of it?

I just ordered some and will be testing this on my box truck when I purchase one in a few days. It sits outside 24/7 in all season--so it should be a good test subject.

I will also test it's ease of application in less that 40 degree weather and see how it performs.

The 50 washes thing makes me think of the TV commercials for NuFinish.

I've got some coming on the way. I'll have a repellency test video up as soon as I can after a day of curing and post it up.

What nobody seems to consider about those commercials is that most car washes employ a "drying agent" in their rinse cycle. It helps to break up the water before it goes through the blowers. This product will also allow for the formation of beads on the surface of the car when/if it gets wet.

I ordered some paint protect on the last sale along with a few other things. I would have liked having it on the vehicle with the snow and rain today.

It's 'too cheap to be true!', I'm very curious on what kind of user comments we are about to see / read.

Please, let we know.

Kind Regards.

I have some on the way. Can't wait to try it on both of my daughters cars as they didn't get my affection for cleans cars.
