Meguiars Paint Protect

I got my order of paint protect today. Won't be able to use it will be to cold tomorrow to detail. But I have a few questions such as

When applying can you apply the product to the whole vehicle and then go back and remove?

I assume that to get the most out of this product and get the most gloss (deep look) would be to put over a favorite wax.

I also would like to know if a glaze like PB black hole affects the paint protect.

Meguiar's recommends that you allow it to sit for 3-5 minutes before wiping off. I'm going to start messing around with longer dwell times prior to removing on a different section of the car. IMO, this product would be ideal as your base layer product. It's still a little early to be definitive, but I don't see any problem so far topping it with something. I've sprayed on some Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax over top of Paint Protect and that has altered the surface tension, and it's held up after waiting a day through a few rinse tests as improving the repellency. So UQW is able to sit well on top of it at least in the short term based on what I've done. I'm not sure about Black Hole, that was another test on my list of things to do up north that I was unable to get to when the test car was sold. Which is testing just how exactly glaze products affect repellency prior to wax/sealant application and seeing just how well the wax/sealants are able to "lock in" those filler qualities. So I don't have any Black Hole with me right now to see if it affects how Paint Protect bonds over top of it, but it's something I'm interested in knowing about.

One thing I do notice as I continue to work with it that I mentioned in the other thread. The quality that makes this product really easy to spread across the paint, is the quality that keeps this from wiping off 100% clean when you go to remove it after the dwell time. It doesn't feel difficult to remove, it feels slick while doing so, but I can definitely see some slight smearing after the initial wipedown. Both of the cars I've applied it to are light colored, and the next day after inspecting in the sun I wasn't able to detect any smearing or streaking, making me believe that this smearing may evaporate off of the panel as it cures. Those who apply to dark colored cars will have to keep an eye out. It could be that I'm still applying it heavier than it wants, again, a very little goes a long way but it goes on very clear and I've been more concerned about getting full coverage for the water tests vs. a perfect application process to avoid streaking/smearing during the wipedown.

Just got finished using the paint protect for the first time. I have used turtle wax liquid ice years ago and this is just like it but red. It goes on very easy and it definitely darkens the paint. I applied it to half the roof and after I wiped it off it was very noticeable as to where I applied it and where I didn't. It does leave the surface very slick, but its a plasticity kind of slick...doesn't feel like coly845 but it is slick. A little goes a long way, and even after knowing that I prob still applied too much. I didn't do any special prep, just washed the car with some maxi suds dried it then applied the paint protect. I put this on my wife's car which stays pretty clean but I'm also going to put a coat on my car that is subject to a lot more environmental attack than hers is, and that'll give me a good judge of durability.
This is how much I used after doing a ford flex

Thanks for the reviews Loach and Sixsix.

Anyone seen this in your local auto parts stores yet?

Is it going to be?

Just searched around some online and doesn't seem it stocked anywhere yet. Yes,I know I could order it here.

Here are some dirty car beading shots from the rain today. The car has not been washed since I applied the paint protect 4 days ago. The beading looks great and the car is still super slick. So far I'm impressed, hopefully it'll last.
