Meguiar's Soap by the Gallon. Hyper Wash vs Shampoo Plus, or both?

I used to use 1 oz per gallon with duragloss car wash and quickly learned all you need is 0.5 oz per gallon making it very economical.
Ultima is good but kills my beading and doesn't seem to ever rinse completely off.

For anyone still perusing this thread, I find this to be true as well--the manufacturer recommended amount is actually a little too high. I found that there was still undiluted concentrate at the bottom of my bucket when I did DG901/902 at the 1 oz. per 1 gallon ratio.

I just got some Optimum Car Wash and it seems to be the same way.

Me too, DG mixed 1 oz/ 2gal is more than fine with ample lubricity and suds and keeps going till the end of the bucket; doesn't break down.Dang, I'm running low too on it and I'm stuck with almost a full gallon of Griot's Garage car wash.

Another very good slick soap that should be available to you via AG is Poor Boy's Super Slick Suds. I think it's pretty cost effective, I believe it's 1oz/3 gallons or something similar. Duragloss is pretty sweet as well, but I'm sucker for following directions - so I always use it 1oz/gallon. Same with Optimum.

Ultima seems pretty harsh to me. Probably good if your only working with sealants or coatings. It's does seem to clean well though. Sonax & 1Z soaps are pretty good - they may be cost effective due to higher dilutions - but I can't recall seeing them in a gallon size.

I like the PBMG soaps as well - but the prices are up there for a gallon $$$. Can't see getting them for a business unless there is a killer sale.

Thanks for giving even more suggestions to this thread. Ultimately, this is being the standard answer to my early threads regarding YYY vs ZZZ:

I like them both, but I must admit when I start to run out I will try something else, at least to substitute one of them. This thread's suggestions will help me out for sure. Keep them coming!

Kind Regards.
