Hi,
I'm not sure if the ultimate polish can be used before ceramic coating a vehicle. I'm asking because in the description are rich polishing oils mentioned...
I plan to use Gyeon Prep and then Q2 pure. Will the prep be enough to take care of the oils, or should I use a different polish?

Thanks for any input.

Yes. I do it all the time. Just give it a very liberal spray of prep, then wipe.

I would get an other polish cause of the rich polishing oils and some fillers I think too. Gyeon Polish or even better if you think that UP would get your paint as where you wants it is Gyeon Primer. With Gyeon Primer you get the polishing part of the Gyeon Polish with a little less amount of abrasives in it. The biggest benefit with Primer is the sio2 base it leaves behind that makes it a perfect finish to apply your coating on.

GYEON Q2 Primer 120 ml.

GYEON Q2M Polish

Same here. Until I ran out, it was my go-to polish for vehicles with soft paint. It is an oily polish as already mentioned, so I would always do a heavy/careful wipe-down to make sure the surface was clean.
