Meguiar's Ultimate Products.

Megs makes some excellent products. Ultimate quik wax rocks. Great smell too it. Ultimate compound is good but I prefer Menzerna or 105 because of the better cut. I also really dig Megs glass cleaner.

I think the Ultimate Wash and Wax is sub standard. It left a film on my windows after a few uses. Af far as any Megs waxes/sealants, I stay away but I haven't given these an honest shot(Nor do I have the desire)

I have so much Ultimate Quick Detailer. I got 3 for around $15 and the sprayers didn't work so I emailed Meguiar's and they sent me 3 more so I got $60 worth of detailer for around $15.

Thanks for it, I am now convinced it is worth the the money, even with the crappy sprayer.

I'm glad you like it. I really don't a quick detailer to be honest, I don't really know why.

I love the Ultimate line. But as others have mentioned about the spray bottles, I think I am going to get a spare Meguiars detailer bottle and use that for the UQD.

I like the Ultimate Protectant on my interior plastic but I want to do something about the terrible container lid. Instead of a normal flip-up nozzle, it's like a shampoo bottle; the lid flips up and there's just a hole, and it dribbles around the hole space there and you have to keep sticking a cloth in there to wipe it out.

Got some orange and grey ccs pads coming in this week. I will finally get to try the UC and UP with machine application. I'll still do the sealant by hand though...:xyxthumbs:

:updated:

I finally decided to give the Meg's UC a try, and did a test spot on ly old Bronco II after wet-sanding with 2000 grit. My goal was to see if the Ultimate Compound could remove 2000 grit scratches. Keep in mind that I did not use a machine for this test:

Since I did this test in direct sunlight, I had a bit of a problem when removing the Ultimate Polish, So I used the Ultimate QD to help remove. I then applied the Ultimate liguid wax to seal an area just big enough so there is a noticable difference between the sealed vs. non-sealed polished area.

You will notice a small amount of distortion in the reflection, due to the slight curvature and a dent.

That metal flake really pops now!:dblthumb2:

Really good stuff for OTC.

You corrected 2000 grit sandpaper with UC by HAND?????

Wow

I love Ultimate Quik Detailer/Wax. To everyone who loves Ultimate Quik Wax, you guys should get a gallon of the synthetic x-press spray wax... It's a great value for money. I just recently acquired the Ultimate Compound and Polish. I can't wait to try it out and see how it compares to M105/205.

Loving their QD so far...IMHO probably on of the BEST QD's I have used to date...

I agree with you Chris. UQD is the only QD type of product I use. I only use it as a drying agent though.

I think I worked that little area 3 times (totaled 10-15 minuts) with UC, but it leveled the scratches. I was impressed...

Ive only used the UC and the Ultimate quick detailer. I didnt care for the ultimate quick detailer. I hate the spray pattern. It makes a nice mist, but half the product gets blown away if theres any sort of breeze.

I love my ultimate compound thouigh. I want to give ultimate polish a try, but I still have half a container of swirl X I need to go through.

As a hobbyist, IMO, Meguiar's Ultimate products are the best OTC products for the money. Cheap, effective, and readily available at my local Wal-Mart.

Love the Ultimate Quik Wax and Detailer. Have had mixed experiences with the Wax.

Meguiar's Ultimate line is their over the counter line and the products are very good! :props:

I used this line before, and I really like it besides one factor. It seems there are a lot of oils, or fillers because of the residue it leaves behind. This is for Ultimate Polish at least....I didn't seem to have this issue with UC, but I could have just over looked it. Anyone else feel the same way?

I think these are one in the same....but don't hold me to it x-press wax is a great value.

I've tried the UQD and UC. I will say that I really like both. Went throught the UQD really quick though, not sure why? Could be the spray pattern that was mentioned earlier. Really like the UC, kinda smells weird. Almost like a minty toothpaste, TOM's of Maine brand maybe, lol. Worked great though, finished really nice, hardly any dusting and a really good work time. :dblthumb2:

I'm with you. I buy it by the gallon. I also get M135 aka UQD by the gallon. I use M135 almost daily and D156 at least weekly after every wash. Excellent products, IMHO. My cars look perfect very day.
