Here's my dilema. The wife and I have been shopping around for a new (to us) car. We've decided to go with a 2010-2011 Lincoln MKS Ecoboost. For those years, Lincoln had an appearance package that was available that included some sleek looking silver carbonfiber(ish) trim on the dash as well as a few other aesthetic features. The apperance package cars are few and far between in the color choices we like. When we do locate one, they tend to be quite a bit more expensive than the non-appearance package version. Example: I'm currently looking at two 2010 models, one with the appearance package and one without. The appearance package car has 29k miles and is $29k. The non-appearance package car has 19k miles and is $23k; it's a much better deal considering the mileage. That's a huge difference and both cars are equipped the same, save for the appearance package which is around $3k retail, and they both have clean CarFax records. I'm pretty sure the Wraptivo would be suitable for the flat wood trim piece along the dash, but there is also a piece of wood trim on the top of the steering wheel. Is Wraptivo brushed aluminum easy enough to work with that it will follow a contour such as that? Will it try to lift over time? I could always replace the dash piece with the apperance package trim, but replacing the steering wheel with an appearance package version would be a little overkill. And yes, the wood trim bugs me that much, lol. Im the MAN
