Meguiars yellow wax ?

Anyone tried this seems to be pretty good worth the 17 bucks ?

Are you talking about #26? That's a fine wax, however I think most members would recommend Collinite 845 for that money.

Its a alright wax durabilty is not to bad it also smell like bananas too but if I am gonna spend that money I rather for collinite wax #845 cause its gonna give me that wow factor with the durability of a expensive priced item for the same price of meguiars yellow wax
 
I don't know if the M26 formulation has changed since it's inception in the yellow tin can, but that was the last time I used it...last time. I hated it.

Meguiars is the leader in this industry. They cater to both the professional as well as the do it yourselfer. The only product they offer I'm not crazy about is their clay

As for their nuba wax. It's some of the best IMO. Apply using a moist applicator pad, apply thin coats starting in the center of each panel working outwards and do a section at a time

This product is none other than: Meguiar's #26!!

I have it, and use it...to the point of almost
being able to call it: Religiously.

I heard the 26 has the best reflective properties or reflective number.. Can't remember what that number is..
 
#26 is my go to wax. The key to it I have found is to spread it as thin as possible. I apply it with a PC da with a soft pad and it always finishes amazing. If you want even more depth and shine use Meg's #7 glaze before.

I have Collinite 845 that I've only used once and really liked too. I also recently picked up a small bottle of meg's ultimate wax and like it.

Have you put Ultimate wax down first as it is a sealant then topped it with #26?
 
I've never used it, but when I run out of my current wax (Meg's Gold Class - Don't judge me. I bought it before I found AGO) I may buy that one.

I just looked that up on Amazon to see their pricing and reviews, and one of the photographs attached to a review just about made me cry. Someone thought they were showing off how good their Escalade looked after using #26, but it was so scratched and swirled I had to look away. *cries quietly in a corner*
 
#26 was what i used before i joined this site. Now i use collinite 845 and im much happier. I have a black truck and #26 would often leave a blue haze that took forever to remove.

This is easily the best deal, and best LOOKING wax in anywhere near it's price out there.

Does Collinite last longer? Yes it most likely does. But the D.O.I. of Megs M26 has been it's strong point for years now. And, the reason I'll reach for it when 'looks' are the most important factor in the job.

Would I use it on wheels like I do with Collinite 845? Uh....... NO!!!! I may be a fan of M26 but I'm not NUTS! :D

I don't want to answer for Sir Cardaddy but I wouldn't use it on wheels because it would not last longer than a week or two.

I do own and use Meguiar's #26. It really spreads nice and smells great!
 
Megs hi tech yellow is excellent. Liquid Sovereign is very nice as well. I want to try 845

Collinite will last a LOT longer than M26. Doesn't look as good, but it sure lasts longer. Smells pretty funky though. Where I can work with M26 all day, "Insulator" I'll make sure I'm gloved up, and get it done as fast as I can and get the heck away from it. It'll never wash off your hands I can tell ya' that. :eek:
