Oops. I left my container of Souveran (about 2/3 remaining) in enough heat that it softened considerably. After drying, it does not come out of the container as a complete cake any longer. It now crumbles if I attempt to remove it from the container to apply to a pad. Should I intentionally melt it down and allow it to re-harden? If yes, what is the best way to melt it down? Sunshine? Pan of warm water? If something other than heating and cooling, what might that be?

Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't worry about it. Use an old credit card or plastic hotel key card. Scrape the wax with the plastic card and spread it onto the pad.

It's ruined...pony up the $100 for a new jar and send me the "ruined" stuff. I'll see to it it gets properly used...I mean disposed of!

I appreciate your willingness to help a brother in need, gunslinger! lol

LMAO! Umm if the Gunslinger for some reason can't remember how bad the ruined stuff is...you are more than welcome to send it to me for "lab tests" on my ride to see if it still beads and sheets....

Gunslinger....you cracked me up this morning!!

All kidding aside, your Souveran should be fine. However, that being said....maybe Santa will get you a new jar!!

Let it sit outside in the sun and then toss it in the fridge for a few minutes.

It's still okay to use. :dblthumb2:
