Am I the only one who wishes more (if not all) members of AGO would include their State and city/area (Or foreign country) in their profile??

When I read a post that mentions any kind of weather, or "where can I buy this or that........" and I do not know where they are located, it drives me nuts. Lol
 
It doesn't drive me nuts but there have been times when I wished I knew.
 
I'm less vague now but we basically have the same weather.

Not exactly, but close.

Those wicked T-storms with hail really crap out when they encounter the LI Sound and/or the Ocean.

But, knowing you're in E PA is the whole point of this thread. Lol
 
Sometimes i look to see where ppl are from when they post pictures of vehicles outside. The terrain and home styles always have me guessing lol
 
I had my city there but it doesn’t mean much unless you’re local so I changed it to show the part of the state instead.

I could have sworn my location was on there... Simi Valley, CA (about 30-40 mikes NW of Los Angeles).

Let me see if I can go fix it.

I do find it helpful. For general conversations it isn't a big deal, but when getting specific about products or what will work in certain environments it is valuable. I feel bad when recommending products to non-US members who can't buy them in their market.

Does the mobile app or Tapatalk even show location? I know on other forums it is really frustrating because that information doesn't show up on mobile platforms and can only be seen when using a web browser.
 
I use Tapatalk and it shows location but it looks like there isn't a way to post mine with it

In Tapatalk, you can select a username to bring up their profile which will show location.
