menz ceramic question

my ride is mitsubishi outlander 08, is it okay to use these products on my outie? SIP & 106FF.
 
Use away. They are, as I am sure you know, made for the Mercedes ceramiclear but work fine on all clearcoats. I have never heard of any problems with these being used on any type clearcoat.

Im not so sure I would be using SIP on a japanese car. Its over kill, plus you would be removing unnecessary amounts of clear-coat. For example, I have removed swirls on an 07 Nissan Sentra with just Menzerna Final polish. I would use the XMT line of products good value for the money.
 
I think they work well even on soft paints, and have seen no appreciable clearcoat wear. I would use them and I bet you might even see some correction a bit faster.
 
I own a Mitsubishi Endeavor and my wife has a Mitsubishi Galant. I have used SIP on both with great success.

Thank you for a very extremely obvious statement. :D Looking at the first post, his car is a 2008. He never stated the condition of his paint, so with what I had to go on, I would like to think his car has nothing more than light to maybe moderate swirls. Now will Menzerna SIP work, absolutely its great stuff. Im just going off the good old rule of using the most lease abrasive product to get the job done. Thats all im trying to get at. PO106FA might be all you need but if that doesn't work feel free to try SIP. I suggested XMT so you might save a few bucks.
 
Try the 106 first, if that doesnt give you what you want, use it again...
SIP is not needed for mitsu clear. Use the 106 and learn how to wash without inducing swirls. Then in 6-8 months use 106 again. XMT has nothing on Menz dont waste your money and get the best stuff first.
 
So im assumeing Subarus have softer clear coats as well?i work every panel on my wrx for about 60seconds roughly and removed about 90-95% of the swirls with WG TSR 3.0 and i would move on 2 the next panel.Am i risking removing to much clear coat?

You are fine. The only way to know would be to get a paint gauge. I just recommend that with Jap spec cars, more attention should be paid to proper washing techniques. This way you dont have to polish often.
