In addition to the 106fa what would you choose the 85rd or 87mc the cut on the 87mc is 1 and 85rd is 1.5There is a difference after 106 is followed by 85rd, S40, or Ultrafina. Does 106 finish down nicely, yes, but there is still something left that will be achieved with three finishing polishes I just mentioned.

The 85rd is for OEM paint and the 87mc is for re-spray and aged paints. In addition to the 106fa what would you choose the 85rd or 87mc the cut on the 87mc is 1 and 85rd is 1.5
I jist checked out the ultrafina. They state that it is for rotary polishers only. I will be useing a flex 3401. I guess that solves it I will go with the 85rd.85rd, you will use this alot more. You could also buy 3M Ultrafina and not have to worry about having to decide between 85rd or 87mc. Ultrafina is an awesome finishing polish. So, are you confused yet.
Boom! the golden answer:cheers:, but...............The 85rd is for OEM paint and the 87mc is for re-spray and aged paints.
87MC will work on OEM and re-paints as will 85RD.Boom! the golden answer:cheers:, but...............
I can see how this could be confusing to some. 85rd for oem and 87mc for aged or repainted cars. Is there an in between Menz product that will service aged, oem & repaint?
I mean... if one wanted a good menz finishing polish with little to no cut.........would the 87mc be OK on a car with oem paint, but a repainted trunk lid, bumper and hood? Please advise!
