Hi auto geekers, I am about to run out on PO85RD and I want to try Sonax nano polish 3/6. But before I pull the trigger, do anyone have experience on how sonax nano polish perform compared to PO85RD? Like which one has more cut, which one finishes better especially on soft black paint? Ease of use? Please feel free to chime in. Thanks guys :)

Hi Ricky,

I can't think of a black car I've used the new SONAX Nano polish on but I have used it my black demo hoods and they have paint that is more on the soft side than the hard side I was finishing our perfect using the SONAX Nano polish on it with just about any pad or tool.

We did use it on this 1987 Corvette with only rotary buffers and it left a flawless finish... Read through it and some of the comments by the people that were here...

Machine Jewelling
Next we switched over to Lake Country Gold Jewelling Pads and machine applied the SONAX Nano Polish, for this everyone stayed around the 600 to 800 RPM Range and re-polished each square inch using only light pressure while cleaning our pads often.

Forrest really liked the results from this step...

When is the last time you saw factory original paint that is 26 years old?

It's a very nice ultra fine cut polish. So is Menzerna SF 4500.

Thanks Mike for the info. Are Sonax polishes SMAT or DAT?

The Sonax polishes are an amazing line IMO...and can hold there weight with Menzerna...

it is a great finish polish...
