First time user of menzerna products specifically the 2400. While the results are great, as I am using the 2400 with a rules polisher and a orange pad I'm getting a lot of white grit all over. Just wondering if this is normal or if I am doing something wrong? I'm worried that while wiping it off it will create scratches which is what I'm trying to remove. If this is normal should I wash the car before laying a sealant? Thanks.

What speed are you running the Rupes? How much product are you using for each polishing section?

Set it to 5. First few times I put it on the pad I made a X across the pad then after just three small dots.

It sounds like the polisher speed and amount of product might be too much causing the "white grit" you are describing.

My experience with Menzerna polishes is that they work best around speed 4. I always clean my pad after each section (brush and/or blow spent product out of pad with compressed air) and only apply 3 pea sized drops of polish for each subsequent section.

Thank you. I will try that when I pick it back up tomorrow. I'm guessing I should wash it before I lay down I final sealant.
