Menzerna Color Lock Carnauba Wax

I wonder if it is a "Southern State" friendly finishing wax. I have a black Raptor and need to find something that will last the "baking" of our sunny summer days (South Louisiana)

If you have a half empty bottle hanging around, I would not mind being the guinea pig. I could do a review for you

if youre interested in trying this wax out, I have some I can spare, PM me if interested.

I'm also interested in hearing peoples thoughts about this wax. It's on my short list of waxes I would like to try.

Would 2 coats of Menzerna Power Lock and a coat of the Color Lock be overboard? I kinda gave up on carnauba waxes since paint sealants are much stronger and the MPL seems to make my paint pop all on its own, but I'm getting more and more interested in the Color Lock.

I don't think it liked road salt too well. Then again, it was on the for car for a couple of weeks, and not many waxes will stand up to that. I'll retest it later this spring. Winter is a bad time to test carnaubas.

It's been out forever but still no reviews here on AG. I love their polishes so I ordered it today and there was a 30% discount on all Menzerna products.

Has nobody tried it at all?

A new Menzerna product is always exciting, and the arrival Color Lock Carnauba Wax is no different.

I played around with it a little bit the other day, and I was impressed. It's very THICK, therefor making it easy to spread (this also minimizes product absorption into the pad). It wipes off without any effort and leaves a smooth, glossy finish.

Two thumbs up.

was it easy to apply by machine?

Color lock is very easy to apply by machine. My go to liquid wax for sure.

I still can't find any proper reviews with pictures of the only wax from this incredibly successful brand of compounds and polishes, so I placed an order on AG. Review coming up in a few weeks.

Unfortunately, I still haven't received it as it's an international delivery.

Did anybody try it in the meantime? I wonder why Menzerna hasn't launched it in Germany.

I've used the Menzerna Power Lock and Color Lock products, and as it was they were my go-to. It described before and I am here to report that they are both very easy to apply and remove and offers a lasting protection (solid 5 months in the Southern Louisiana hot and humid weather).

It WAS my go to until PBMA introduced their Black Label sealant. I am not saying that Black Label sealant is better because I have yet to verify its claims of up to 1 year of protection, but as far as ease of use (on and off), optics and beading/sheeting, they are neck and neck rivals on all fronts and would give the final win to Pinnacle. To my eye, I found that Menzerna was a little one dimensional and flat note in terms of optics. Don't get me wrong, Pinnacle does not compare to the optical qualities of a high grade carnauba wax but it definitely edges the Merzerna product.
