Menzerna - New Names and Product Numbers

Mike, I think you should also note that the "new" Power finish 2500 IS NOT THE SAME as the old(white label). The new PF is less aggressive

I hate change but this is good. Just have t get used to it. Thanks for the charts Mike!

This is a good change, I have always loved and been an advocate for Menzerna, it can be a bit confusing, but once you understand the numbers and codes, you are good to go.......superior products !!

On a last minute whim I ordered PO85RD from Autopia because it was on backorder here. I hope that doesn't mean I am getting the older and not the newer. I decide after using the WG Concours I was going to switch to Menz and LC flats or Hydro's for my BMW. If I read correctly, AG and Autopia are owned by the same people...is this true? Could it possibly be that Autopia already got the new products?

I'll be honest, when I was looking for a new polish to try I looked at Menzerna. But I couldn't make heads or tails out of the names and which did what, so I just went with another brand. Maybe I'll give it another look.

What is the old Super Finish in the white bottle now? Is it?

Super Finish "Nano" SF-4000 PO106FA

Menzerna is the next line I'd like to try and pick up. I don't have any because of the previous labeling system. That will change now.

I'd also like to find out where to buy the FG500 (as well as M101). That way I can stay with a product line from finish to end.

I could sense some BOGO old menzerna labels in the works ;) (wishful thinking)

I do. The following is a quote from a email from Jeff Silver at Menz USA.

The Power Finish that was in the white bottles was the PO203S. When we had the opportunity to change to new labels and black bottles it was decided to eliminate the PO203S since it is almost identical to the PO83 Super Intensive Polish. With the new black bottles, the PF2500 is now the PO203 Power Finish. This product is between the SI 1500 Super Intensive and the SF 4000 Super Finish. To answer the question, the new PF2500 is less abrasive than the white bottle Power Finish.

thanks for the update. That sucks. That was my favorite polish. no dust and great cut and finish. ughhh...

Is the WG TSR similar to the old power finish in the white bottle ?

I think I will be spending a lot of time at the Menzerna table at Detail Fest getting all of this straight.

I am going to add Menzerna to my arsenal but there are too many choices!

Whats a good follow up for Megs 105?

Yeah, let SpoiledMan know what you find out, then he can explain it to me. :D

Looks like 85rd remains as 4500. That's a relief! I got my gallon of FPII Saturday so I should be good to go as I have a stash of all the other M products I use.
