Menzerna Order: Feedback?

Here is my proposed Menzerna order:

Menzerna Super Intensive Polish PO 83Q
Menzerna Nano Polish PO 106
Menzerna Micro Polish PO 87MC
Menzerna Finishing Glaze PO 115C (and yes, I do like glazes!)

Any feedback or suggested changes?

That looks like a good arsenal of products, although from what I've read repeatedly about 106FF I would skip PO87. I don't think you'll need it. I'm going to get some 106FF myself this weekend. In fact I'll do it right now :D.

I would suggest you do get both. The P087 (that's FPII, correct??), will do fine if there is not much correction needed. It will give an AWESOME shine..especially in combination with the glaze. Just make sure you lock it in with something good. The 106ff I have used a ton of times..it's probably the thing I go to the most. I would still get both.
 
Ricky, do you use the 106FF for heavier defect removal with a polishing or light cutting pad? Or do you just use it as a finishing polish?

Also, the PO 87 isn't the FP2, it's the micro polish, I've heard one step better finishing than the FP2.

I use the 106ff for polishing and minor defect removal. It won't remove wet sanding marks, I use Presta for that although the powergloss compound would probably work..I've never tried it. I use a white 3m waffle pad with the 106ff with great results which is their compounding pad. It finishes with an awesome brilliance. I then use a 3m black finishing pad and FPII (micro polish) and top with collonite (for customers) or whatever. Everytime I look at the product line, I change my mind on what the best combination of products would be.......Thinking, thinking, thinking.....
 
Cheapest way to get the "Menzerna look" is the super IP PO 83Q and the Micro polish PO 87MC. $60 bucks less 15% and you're good to go. The regualr intensive polish is nice as well, but the super IP isn't as strong as the power gloss, so I'd think having a somewhat strong polish like it would be of more benefit than the regular IP.

And as far as 87MC vs final polish 2, I don't have a direct use with each, but have heard that the micro will finish even better than the FP2.

And the 106FF fits in between the 83Q and 87MC, can be used to remove marring as well as finish too. Problem is, on a badly marred car, you're going to need a aggressive pad to get the marring out, thus leaving some micromarring that will need another pass with the polishing/finishing pad. So if you need to go over the area twice anyways, why not just save some cash and buy the 32oz bottles that are $30, not $50? Admittedly though, many others would probably agree that having one polish that does it all is ideal, so your choice there.
 
This is really confusing since Menzerna doesn't list an 83 or 87, they show several different 85's.

85's and 106 have same gloss (5) but 106 has a little more cut.
 
PO 87 MC is equivalent to the original PO 85RD and does finish alittle better than FPII (aka 85U) and of course 87MC (85RD) would be preferred over FPII on hard clear.

I use 106FF and 85RD alot. The 106FF has more cut, but finishes like 85RD. I have not tried Super Intensive (PO 83 aka PO 85RD3.01).
 
Yeah Lazer, I do agree, but other than 106FF's ability to multitask, the following list in order from great to least cut should clear things up a bit.

Powergloss S34A
Super Intensive Polish PO 83Q
Intensive Polish PO 91E
Final Polish PO 85U
Micro Polish PO 87MC

And the 106FF I've heard cuts a bit less than the PO 91E Intensive Polish , but has the ability to finish like the PO 85U/PO 87MC, which is nice.

So what do you use if/when 106FF doesn't take out all the deeper marring? Or do you have luck with it on even bad finishes?
 
I've used 106FF on blue Edge to remove pretty bad swirls.

I'm pretty slow, so if I want the old 85RD for less cut than 106 but same gloss, what is the new number.
 
LazerRed1, I posted earlier, 87 MC = 85RD.

Nimble, I use OC for tough swirls and follow with 106FF with more passes. Sometimes I live with some swirls for fear of cutting through the clear.
Im do not have a clearcoat thickness gauge like some.

Haha not unless you own a rotary and need to do vehicles that are trashed beyond belief. If PO 83Q SIP, a yellow/org pad, and a pc at speed 6, the car has no hope. hehe

I don't recognize any of those products there LOL!
I love Menzerna though. I'm not sure about the nano and micro-polishes, I'm going to have to read more about them to get more familiar with them, but what I have is one of each: PO85RD, PO85RD3.00, PO85RD3.02 and PO106FF

How does any of the products you've mentioned above compare to what I have in terms of function?
All I know is that Menz products do work great, and really can't go wrong with any of them :)

i have seen alot of people try to straighten out the whole number confusion with this line. and i thought i had it figured out but now iam confused again. the reason being is people talk about 85rd saying it is discontinued or it is the same as 87mc. well i found a site selling both 87mc and 85rd. the 85rd is going for 49.95 and 87mc is going for 29.95. price alone tells me they r not the same. is menzerna usa and menzerna germany using same products or is usa a lesser product? i have heard that too. please help unconfuse me. thanks
