I want to try menzerna 106fa and 85rd. Is it worth it to get both. I see on the polish chart that they both finish about the same but, 106fa has slight cut to it. Should i get both or just the 106fa.

It depends on the car, color of the paint and your goals. I use WG FG3.0 which is similar to the 106FA on my white bimmer, then a LSP. Dang it looks good.

On a dark car, I tend to use a finishing polish like PO85rd as the final polish step.

from my understanding, 106fa has a bit more cut than 85RD if you need it. Otherwise, 85RD will give a great finish.

I saw at the bottom of the 106fa info page, it says it is pretty much the same as WG finish glaze. I noticed this after i posted the thread. I'll just go with the 85RD. Yhanks for the help.

85rd is for the absolute lightest of marring or the softest paint. po106fa is way more versatile imo.

I dont find you really need both, but I would add SIP to one or the other . 085rd and Nano both finish quite well and really work as a 1-2 punch with SIP.

SIP can finish down quite well. It is something that should be in the arsenal. But I do like using 85rd alot.

Im using SIP as a one step on a black Benz. It isnt perfect but correcting more than I was expecting it would.

Have you tried PowerFinish for a nice one step also ??

Thanks for the input guys. Will go with SIP and 85rd.
