Menzerna products with Rupes pads?

I recently bought the Rupes 15 kit that comes with everything I need to polish my car and I really love the feel of the machine. I have a good supply of Menzerna prods. and I'd like to try to use both Menzernas 4000 and 4500 polishes on the Rupes pads on my car. I know how some manufacturers will say to "Only use our products with our whatever" just to get you to buy their stuff but I wonder if any member of this forum or even Mike Phillips has tried the combo I've mentioned. I don't want to damage my paint if it's a bad combo so any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

You'll be fine. A lot of the professionals are using different products and different pads with the Rupes. I myself have used Meg's pads and liquids with the Rupes and it worked great!

i never liked 4500 on a da until i used it on the 21.worked great.

The mfr says that they make the operation of the machine smoother. With my limited time with the Rupes pads, I barely noticed it the pads being smoother. IMO, if you already have a lot of pads, there's no need to order the Rupes pads as an addition to your arsenal. Now if you're starting out then maybe it's ok.
