Menzerna SF-4000

I recently did part of my sisters g37, and I was very pleased with the amount of correction. I do think it will be on another level once my Carpro reflect comes in.

Just did a 3-step on my G35, starting with D300, some wet sanding across the hood with Rupes 3000 discs to remove the line left after removing the bra, more wet sanding (feather edging with 3M 2000 paper, then.... uhhh... again with the Rupes 3000, followed by D300, Menz 2500, and finally ending with SF4000. Looks AWESOME! :D (But tends to take Eraser to remove all the polishing oils from Menz products.)

Yeah, it was a bit more than I wanted, that's for sure! Actually the 3000 Rupes discs really are not that bad, they scuff it up, but don't remove a ton from the surface. It's easily cleaned up with Megs 205 and an orange pad, or even Menz 2500 with an orange pad. The 2000 though takes at least D300. Then hit it afterwards with 205 or 2500. (Megs 151 would work too, but I'm doing a coating so didn't want to mess with it this time around.)

Speaking of coating, it's now got 2 coats of PBL on it. :dblthumb2:

I've got to get photos from my phone, as well as my wife's phone (she took some in St. Augustine of the damage) and have some on my Canon DSLR as well I need to go through and get them uploaded.

For that matter, I've got a project we did last fall when another forum member came down for some training. Need to U/L those photos and do a thread on that one too. ;) He ended up staying here SEVENTEEN HOURS! Did a TON of sanding on his car. It was a re-spray with a lot of orange peel that never was cut and buffed at the shop. :dunno: It needed a LOT!!!!!
