yes you are.........

j/k

It came today as far as i know

I would be interested in Killr's opinion of the Micro Polish. I need something one step fup from FPII to really finish off--either that or my CCS Grey pad is too harsh.

a gray pad will not break down the polish so what is happening is the polish is grinding and not breaking down fast enough to a finish stage...try a white pad if CCS...I use just a white..blue and a green for menzrna..no orange..pink... yellow...

I have had to keep this under wraps for two weeks .... finally it is available at Autogeek.

I have used the nano and finishing polishes with great success. Never needed to move to white (LC) until I got to the IP area. It still broke down the way that most polishes do when using two different abrasive levels.

Bill the last info I got was this

Micro Polish uses the highest quality finely milled powder to eliminate all haze, swirls, and holograms on all paint
systems. Contains no fillers or glazing material to achieve a permanent ultra high gloss surface quality.
Ref. PO87MC (AKA FPII)

hope that helps....I got that from Menz awhile back....

I have the 106FF which I think is the same as nano. Use the blue edge with it. Good stuff (should be for the price).

Could you go over that a little slower?

They are the ones that you get in Germany too! Not the regular ones that you can get in NA :)

Man those numbers on Menzerna is MESSING WITH MY HEAD........Some ad up with the German site and some dont....

No PO 73/APO 56 A here?
Menzerna pads?

nano w/ mercedes

for the menz. nano (PO106) it says that you should use the superintensive polish before (for dark colors).

I thought the nano was essentially an AIO? For my 06 SLK 55 should I use the superintensive first?

Also should I use a cc green pad or just the black pad for swirl rempoval? If I use Superintensive should I use the green pad?

Too many questions but I am on every happy Geek with AG getting the Menz line. :awesome:(I hope some of our emailing campaign helped)

Couple of things. This is from the AG E-Mail Menzerna literature:
Menzerna Polish Advantages:
  • Water-based
  • Contains no fillers, silicones, or wax
  • Safe on all types of paint, including clear coat, lacquer, ceramic, and acrylic
  • Little or no loss in surface gloss
    Uniform abrasives
  • Safe on new paint and factory cured paint
  • Clean, often one-step defect removal
  • Low or no dusting
  • Minimal (if any) polishing required to restore gloss to dark paints
It says no wax or fillers, so I think that answers the AIO question from a prior poster.

It says "Uniform abrasives". Does this mean that it does not have dimibishing abrasives, or simply that they all start out about the same size.

Hey Al,

when you say gray pad...do you mean the CCS pads or the regular Lake Country pads?

Reason I ask is because I've used the regular gray pad with Final Polish II and I got okay resuls but then I tried regular blue Lake Country pads with Final Polish II and got even better resutls even with the green (4inch Cyclo Lake Country) pads.

Oh well. I just placed a rather large order with AG yesterday for Pinnacle products as well as a mf kit , the Edge kit plus other misc. stuff which added up to a few hundred bucks . I had also wanted a couple of Menzerna items that I had to go to another site right after I placed my order with Dwayne. If only I had known, I would have waited . From now on I'll be able to all my shopping at AG. Good move Autogeek.

Nica..the 3 pads I use is green..white and blue....I try each polish with a pad...and see what going to work best....so far white with 106 works best for me on correcting..blue for final finishing for the mirror look....on the intensive..i start with white to see how it is cutting...if good i stick with it..if need more I go green...very rarely do I need the green...83Q finishes out nice on a white..LSP ready...on most paints...softer ones will need 106FF on a blue..

I also have PO85RD and PO85E5..those are 2 finish polishes ....the least cut of them all...and that what I jewel the paint with if needed...

Now I tried a orange pad and sucked ...it cut to heavy and left a ton of marring...so I do not use them...no real need for them..I just wanted to see what it did...glad my dog ate that pad...lol...

again..green white and blue is all you need....either pad...CCS or plain flat..both work great with Menz...

Blackcoupe..the uniform abrasive means there is no over sized abrassives in it..they are all the same size...and yes they are diminishing also...
